We clean pre-fab chimneys that are typically found in apartment communities and condo associations. Having the community’s chimneys cleaned out annually is a good idea for any community. Our cleaning process removes creosote buildup in the flue and insures that the firebox is in good working order. Chimney cleaning can be done any time of year, but our recommended time frame is August through October. This way the chimneys are cleaned just prior to winter time usage.
Chimney Cleaning Includes
- Inspection and cleaning of the chimney from the interior of the unit
- Clean flue, interior damper, and firebox
- Ash in firebox will not be removed due to fire hazard of hot ash
- Inspect for any deficiencies or damage to insure chimney is safe
- Report any deficiencies to Management
